The discharge SCHNEID 2 wire is clamped together with the data cable to the T board. The discharge SCHNEID 2 wire will protect the data interface of the regulator against over-voltages due to indirect lightning strokes, if the wiring and clamping have been carried out appropriately and correctly in accordance with the SCHNEID connection specifications (for more details go to www.schneid.at).

Additionally, the discharger SCHNEID 2-wire prepares the necessary bridging in order to operate the T board in a 2-wire network.
The surge arrester is supplied with loose wire ends.
